The Humble Indie Bundle: Pay What You Want For Charity
Indie games supporting charities is something that defines what I love about the growth of the gaming industry. The Humble Indie Bundle is available until May 11th and allows you to pay (whatever you want) for 5 incredible indie games and have your money distributed (however you want) between two charities and the developers. The charities you will be helping are Child’s Play and the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF). Child’s Play helps children’s hospitals across the world with donations of games, toys, books, and cash and was setup by the founders of Penny Arcade. The EFF is a digital rights advocacy group raising awareness to legislation that threatens freedom in a networked world.

This is something I can get behind. Gives me (a gamer on a budget) a chance to play some great games while helping out charities for kids.
I don’t have a lot of money to toss around, but I gave some $. I like these games quite a bit, I’ve already bought World of Goo for both Mac and Wii. The Wii version is awesome! I’ve been giving Gish a play recently and am liking it quite a bit. Haven’t tried the other yet, but will if I get any spare time soon.
