The War on Horror Continues, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D Out June 28

Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D

Like this, but, you know, in 3D

Mercenaries 3D looks to continue what the mini games from RE:3 through RE:5 began, with minor alterations such as skill customization, first person aiming and the ability to move while reloading.  You’ll also be able to take part in coop games with a friend through the games “Duo” mode, so awkward first dates can quickly become balls to the walls battles against mutants.

If there was any motivation for me to pick up a 3DS, it would probably be because of Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D and Resident Evil Revelations. Now that I think of it, the only reason I bought a Gamecube and a Wii was because of Resident Evil games. It’s too bad the whole RE exclusivity died after the Gamecube or else I may be a bit more pumped up for Nintendo’s new system.
