Hey! Look! SNES Arcade Cabinet
Constructing the perfect arcade machine is a pipe dream for a lot of gamers. Reddit user Echoobrain shared this goal, but wanted to make his cabinet a little bit different. Instead of refurbishing a classic machine or building a custom MAME cabinet, Echoobrain wanted the ability put cartridges directly into the dashboard rather than loading ROM files (via RipTen). The result became an incredible SNES arcade cabinet.

As a former owner of an arcade machine that I did not have the time to turn into what I really wanted, I am impressed by Echoobrain’s commitment and ingenuity. Check out more photos of the SNES arcade cabinet and let’s hope he figures out how to mass produce these with low shipping costs.
