Episode Background

Justin and Ethan decided that this was the year to give Gen Con a chance, but still the stories they’ve heard do not necessarily match up with reality so they want to talk through their expectations with Josh Lee. Josh plays a wide variety of tabletop games and is a regular attendee at Gen Con. Not only that, but as a member of Horrible Night he knows where our video gamers are coming from and believes there is something for everyone at Gen Con. We’ll see how his opinion holds up in our follow-up episode where Justin and Ethan describe their experience at Gen Con 2012.

This checkpoint is for anyone who has been or is interested in going to Gen Con and wants to know how much video games play into the event. Gen Con 2012 is in Indianapolis starting on August 16th through August 19th.
