Dementium II Terrorizing Its Way from DS to your PC

by on September 10, 2012 at 3:50pm

Horror games are making a nice little comeback in the last year or so thanks to new developers wanting to scare the hell out of gamers. The PC and Mac are about to get a dose of Dementium II which comes from a rather surprising source. I remember reading about the first Dementium game as not only a horror game worth experiencing on any platform, but pretty much the only one available on the Nintendo DS.

Dementium 2

Gives good bear hugs.

It is funny that the concept of a handheld first-person horror game both put me off of trying the game at all and simulataneously made Dementium stand out in my memory. Sure I didn’t give it a fair chance, but I didn’t want to waste time on the smaller screen for whatever dumb excuse of the week I was using at the time. I do enjoy being enveloped as much as possible by horror games, so thankfully Memetic Games is bringing new life and updated graphics into this franchise. We probably didn’t deserve this port, so you best better get your $19.99 ready for some screaming later this fall on PC and Mac.
